Lao Tzu

One of my favorite chapters from Lao Tzu is #47.......

"Without going anywhere,
you can know the whole world.
Without even opening your window,
you can know the ways of heaven."
You see: the further away you go, the less you know....
The sage does not need to travel around;
Why? Because he can still understand.
He sees without needing to see,
he never does anything, and yet....it all happens....

For me, this is a reminder that no matter how long one
has been on the path of awakening.....that it is ultimately an inward journey....
That it within ourselves....our Being...
that we will ultimately discover who we are and what we are to "Do".

Rainer Maria Rilke ~ On Love

Rainer Maria Rilke

Letters To A Young Poet

(1903-1908)

People have (with the help of conventions) oriented all their solutions toward the easy and toward the easiest side of the easy; but it is clear that we must hold to what is difficult; everything alive holds to it, everything in Nature grows and defends itself in its own way and is characteristically and spontaneously itself, seeks at all costs to be so and against all opposition...
To love is good, too: love being difficult. For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation. For this reason young people, who are beginners in everything, cannot yet know love: they have to learn it. With their whole being, with all their forces, gathered close about their lonely, timid, upward-beating heart, they must learn to love. But learning time is always a long, secluded time, and so loving, for a long while ahead and far into life, is solitude, intensified and deepened loneness for him who loves.

Love is at first not anything that means merging, giving over and uniting with another (for what would a union be of something unclarified and unfinished, still subordinate?); it is a high inducement to the individual to ripen, to become world, to become world for himself for another's sake. It is a great exacting claim upon him, something that chooses him out and calls him to vast things. Only in this sense, as the task of working at themselves ("to hearken and to hammer day and night"), might young people use the love that is given them.

Love is a State.....

Love is a State.....

Love is a state and doesn't come with a name. Love is nameless and comes and grows with the awakening of the Soul. The Soul is Love and Love is of the Soul. Love is the highest magic ingredient that can transform everything in Go-l-d. Mervyn reminds us that we don't need to be loved, we need to love. Love is the natural act of the Soul, through the heart Love flows and irradiates, Love heals and make blooming a plant with no flowers. Love melts the heart and helps the heart to stretch more and become sacred. In the name of Love the impossible become possible. In a state of Love the most powerful cocktail can be created and offered to the Gods ... they are waiting for that ... to feel souls merging and reaching them. Through Love we experience God and God experiences us.

Love Is Like a Flowing River...

Love Is Like a Flowing River

Love is like a flowing river, with nothing in its way on its journey to the ocean (our souls).  It moves effortlessly, aware of no obstacles moving effortlessly with peaceful nature surrounding it and coexisting peacefully.  Like the river where once rocks (anger), bends in its path, (unforgiving), lack of rain and snow (nonacceptance) existed, the turbulence of the once raging water inside us are replaced by compassion, forgiveness and acceptance. Love removes all obstacles and allows us to flow freely in our essence and directly to our soul.

Love Comes.....

Love Comes....

"Love comes when we forget ourselves and feel other people, feel our Masters, feel God. Humility comes when we catch a glimpse of the great Work and great achievements, and see how infinitely small we are by comparison...."

The Energy of Love...

The Energy of Love

At this moment I feel the energy of Love enter, connecting all of us, my heart is open fully and I can sense the possibilities to be stripped of all that is not real and enter together the state of grace. There was no need, to read or understand anything... only to feel... the love that he infused into our souls and continues to nurture from beyond the veil. I have verified that the greatest gift we cherish and share here is the treausure of Love released from our souls the sacred scent of each flower in this precious garden. I am so touched right now to be with you all, and share this state.

Pray

William-Adolphe Bouguereau

Do not pray for strength. Pray to be pierced, pray to be opened and
willingly offer your pain in exchange for the birth of your Soul.
No quarter must be given.

Tempted

Michelangelo

...you can find descriptions in literature of how people attained a very high degree of development in seclusion, but when they came in contact with other people they at once lost all they had gained. In schools of the Fourth Way it was found that the best conditions for study and work on oneself are a man's ordinary conditions of life, because from one point of view these conditions are easier and from another they are the most difficult. So if a man gets something in these conditions he will keep it in all conditions, whereas if he gets it in special conditions he will lose it in other conditions.

~P.D. Ouspensky
