Part Of Not Reacting...

Part of not reacting to something that appears negative,
at least for me in this octave of my life,
is realizing,
we may not be able to see the whole picture.
We think someone is throwing stones,
when God is giving us hail.
I'm finding negativity provides the opportunity.

Assumptions...

Picasso

Assumptions and quick conclusions
are often not based on I's that are well considered.
These can cause us to become negative,
when perhaps,
the more task of external consideration and relativity
would better serve us.

Mervyn Suggested....

Raphael

Mervyn suggested we wait 72 hours
before responding to some communication
that brought up a negative reaction.
In our time of sound bites
and quick fire texts, this can be difficult.
But perhaps it would be possible
to send a holding text such as 'thank you
I will get back to you soon on this'.
Meantime we are able to see so many things
about ourselves just by holding back a response
and being present to our I's.
I think this could be seen as an example
of using the special knowledge we have been given.
Much is learned by holding back
and creating a stop in the automatic functions of life.

What is the Meaning...

“What is the meaning of God-Realization?
It means to become one with God.
By thinking and imagining,
one can never become one with God.
Union is possible
only after the death of thoughts and imagination —
the mind must die.
“How does a person know that he has realized God?
It is automatic.
You are a human being.
Do you ever think to yourself
`Am I a human being?´
You do not ask yourself this
because you are a human being.
In the same way,
once a man realizes God,
he spontaneously knows that he is God.
He has the full experience of it by personal experience.”

Our Ordinary Mind...

Edmund Munch

(On negative imagination)
Our ordinary mind is quick to jump to conclusions
with partial or very limited information.
When we are deeply present
it becomes possible to refrain from judgment and just be there,
without the need to come to any conclusive determinations
about the cause of the situation.

The Creature Likes to Believe...

The creature likes to believe the I's are real.
Gives it identity and purpose.
There can be great freedom in remembering '
"We have the right not to be negative.”
Psychologically - just walk away from the negative I's.
Put the attention elsewhere.
Be present to the moment.
Find something to lift the hydrogens.
A place for the spirit to jump for joy.

We Strive To Be Present...

We strive to be present,
in small ways;
to see the sacred in all the results,
and this is HUGE!
WE learn to observe our negative thoughts
and this octave has such power, as it keeps us in our soul.
It teaches our inner world to lead.
With the larger octave of awakening seemingly so far off,
yet in these interwoven and necessary octaves,
this tapestry of small aims,
the real beauty and hard work takes place.
The result is an artwork that while never finished,
and always imperfect,
has an arc and substance to it
which like a beautiful piece of music
can hold the narrative of a well-lived life.

In Presence and Love...

Evelyn De Morgan

In presence and love,
all attachments can be abandoned
and the soul can unfurl and arise in a new light.
Then when I find myself in this new light,
new aims or old ones can be spoken up in my soul
and maybe a different will,
the will of my inner world can open and begin again
in what ever aim it wishes to express.

In a State of Grace...

In a state of grace,
the soul is like a well of limpid water,
from which flow only streams of clearest crystal.
Its works are pleasing both to God and man,
rising from the River of Life,
beside which is rooted like a tree.

Remove Buffers...

Remove buffers, strip away mechanical excuses.
Become vulnerable Souls. And sit at the table with God.

Which Part Of Myself ...

Alphonse Mucha

Which part of myself do I want to grow?
And what beauty am I holding back in service of my mechanics?
