I Heard Mervyn´s Words...

I heard Mervyn´s words inside me,
“whatever you do, let your soul do it with you”.
When and if,
I am present to whatever is taking place in my everyday life,
small things, mostly.
I pray the gods can use that for my being
that way I may fulfill the purpose of my life on this planet,
serve as a bridge, between worlds,
anchor this consciousness here on planet Earth.
Only with Higher help can this take place.

I See the Third Force...

I see the third force like an invisible key
that one can keep tucked away to constantly unlock
and keep flowing “endlessly”.
Being human and mechanical
my thoughts and mind can “Lock” me out
from this infinite and measureless force
which when utilized with conscious action
and self-remembering can unlock the soul to flow
with the ultimate spirit of God’s creation.

I Was In A Church...

I was in a church this morning
listening to the parable of the Wedding of Cana
where Jesus turns the water to wine.
From an esoteric point of view there were 3 elements in the main story:
stone, water and wine.
The wedding ran out of wine (understanding).
The mother of Jesus tells him this.
He asks her what is it to do with him that his hour has not yet come.
But yet we know the parable is that he turns the water (knowledge)
in the great stone vases (earth) to wine.
Returning to the idea of the higher consciousness
available to us I had the thought
that it could be taken as the people
having run out of understanding
had to turn to a conscious source to receive understanding
to continue on their path.
So we have sources we can turn to
when our understanding runs dry
and/or our knowledge needs to be recharged
so we can continue to move towards higher understandings
and expansion and growth of our inner true self
which in turn can be shared into the world
with positive irradiations and emanations.

We Cannot Love Everybody...

We cannot love everybody,
but we are here to project harmony.
If we have harmony we grow.
To collect positiveness we must love people,
really love them. Just love them.
Everyone is in need of love; it is spiritual food.
When we love people we give them our flesh and blood.
Blood is emanations, flesh means our real self.

This Reminds Me...

This reminds me of what Mervyn reminded us to do,
which was to constantly do a Hydrogen check,
to see where our energy is and how it is affecting not only our state,
but of those around us.
The idea of using intentional imagination,
by holding people in light and love
and sending out loving "I's" is very helpful.
It is used by many current spiritual teachers,
what we might call changing the triad
from one of negativity to one of Love.

Someone Who Met Gurdjieff...

Someone who met Gurdjieff
described the experience
as meeting someone who personified his teachings
"the conscious harmonious development of man".
Our tradition of the 4th way is not static
it is a constant moving organic living teaching.
You could perhaps call it super substantial bread
if taken and used in a certain way.
Rodney Collin reminds us that Love is spiritual food
and is a certain irradiation
that only a certain type of action can stimulate

Loving...

Loving, tending to even our darkest thoughts,
seems to me a sort of tunnel towards harmony.
I am trying to learn not to shrink from negativity,
not to block it,
but instead to work through it
with humor and non-judgemental kindness.
I have always felt that from students,
as a sort of beacon the way one learns to accept,
and gently turn around a difficult moment
into one of grace and healing.
We all have them, moments of negativity.
It is how we let them define us.

I Remember the Moment...

The only journey is the one within.
Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems.
Leonardo Da Vinci

I remember the moment when I was invited to the dance of the Work ..
And it was such a pure experience.
A simple gaze from Mervyn ...
and I saw the new order of human
which I had never yet met.
A response to a question at the end of a lecture ...
a challenge I put forward which met with nothing but light.
And a dinner afterwards
when I could see a glow around the eyes of all the students present.
I really did not know until much later
how to put any of what I was experiencing into words.
Yet I knew I wanted what I could see growing in others around me,
more than anything I had ever known.

For Me the Immaculate Conception...

Francisco Rizzi

For me the immaculate conception is the story of the school,
the beginning of the believing of the miraculous.
The new state of mind self-remembering is born into being.
In the beginning of the work
we do not fully understand
the meaning and importance of this journey…
like Joseph we did not have the level of being
to digest it in the beginning.

I feel Mervyn was the "Mary" of this school,
believing and starting the octave of this huge task.
Gurdjieff called Men No 7 the perfect man,
men which have reached the highest possible level of consciousness
while being alive on this planet.

I Remember...

I remember how wonderful it was to enter a space
when Mervyn was there and instantly feeling moved and lifted,
without any words.
Our legacy is that we have this possibility of living and giving
in this miraculous atmosphere.

Reason Says...

Michelangelo

Reason says, "I will beguile him with the tongue;"
Love says, "Be silent. I will beguile him with the soul."
The soul says to the heart, "Go, do not laugh at me
and yourself. What is there that is not his, that I may beguile him thereby?"
He is not sorrowful and anxious and seeking oblivion
that I may beguile him with wine and a heavy measure.
The arrow of his glance needs not a bow that I should
beguile the shaft of his gaze with a bow.
He is not prisoner of the world, fettered to this world
of earth, that I should beguile him with gold of the kingdom of the world.
He is an angel, though in form he is a man; he is not
lustful that I should beguile him with women.
Angels start away from the house wherein this form
is, so how should I beguile him with such a form and likeness?
He does not take a flock of horses, since he flies on wings;
his food is light, so how should I beguile him with bread?
He is not a merchant and trafficker in the market of the
world that I should beguile him with enchantment of gain and loss.
He is not veiled that I should make myself out sick and
utter sighs, to beguile him with lamentation.
I will bind my head and bow my head, for I have got out
of hand; I will not beguile his compassion with sickness or fluttering.
Hair by hair he sees my crookedness and feigning; what's
hidden from him that I should beguile him with anything hidden.
He is not a seeker of fame, a prince addicted to poets,
that I should beguile him with verses and lyrics and flowing poetry.
The glory of the unseen form is too great for me to
beguile it with blessing or Paradise.
Shams-e Tabriz, who is his chosen and beloved - perchance
I will beguile him with this same pole of the age.
