and the way their own machine operates, 

the less one tends to react to the feature. 

This of course is if one is working on oneself 

and has had moments of self-remembering. 

Mechanically, 

dominance will evoke willfulness, period. 

Even in small things, 

dominance makes a statement 

and willfulness says no, 

reacting without even thinking. 

If you catch the moment before you react 

(and one must be there to catch it) 

then you have a choice.

I Realized This Week...

 

I realized this week 

how I am still being outrun 

by the will of the machine. 

But, this realization, in turn, 

has fueled my desire 

to let the will of the Soul come to play. 

I need to allow for the will of the Soul, 

which I can see, 

it just wants to feed in the world. 

When I am in the presence of others, 

my soul wants to see, it is like, 

it wants to be 'spent' by sharing itself with others. 

Realizations become like a north star 

that can guide us.

Working in a School

the teachings require a discipline that goes beyond 

reading the beautiful writing in the books; 

it must translate into practical understanding. 

Mervyn used to say, "Take the time to lift up a glass 

of water to your mouth in presence."  

We must relearn it all to be done in presence. 

Hence comes the question...

Third Line Work...

Third line work 

is a natural progression for all students.

Just as we have the triad ‘knowledge, understanding, being,’ 

we have the triad of three lines of work. 

As we progress through the system 

and our knowledge becomes being, 

we see how important it is 

that we empty our cups 

and there seems to be no better way 

than through third line work.

The Creature...

 

The creature stops for a moment 

and can be softened and reassured 

that a new master is in the chamber, 

and then this connection, 

this beautiful and delicate thread, 

must be held gently by the soul 

and ridden like a newfound wild horse into this world. 

It is so important to eliminate them, 

or the machine will take them back. 

It is like opening a separate bank account for our soul 

and for others’ souls, 

ultimately for the "Bank of Heaven" 

and all its treasures. 

These realizations are the road back to heaven, 

our path, our destiny and our work.

When We Are Present...

 

When we are present,

the machine can try to take, 

or to keep the state. 

This is probably only natural,

but it can impede the longevity of the state. 

The observation is that we need to

leave the machine behind.

I have this new state since visiting Mexico.

 It appears to be permanent but

actually it moves in waves. 

When it first appeared, 

I could see that my mechanics

wanted and desired to be part of the experience, 

but they hindered me, 

in that when the state was less active or resting 

I found my mechanics longing

At the end of this month will be the third anniversary of her death.  

Somehow, her B-day is more painful to me than her death.  

Being present does not heal the pain of her death......
