A Window to the Divine is Held Open...

A window to the divine is held open

in a particular way at this time

and we can be even more receptive to the Miraculous.

The mind can think us away from this,

but the inner world knows it strongly.

Mervyn spoke of this inner knowing
and it's power to alter our course,

if we remain open.

Gardens are such a wonderful paradigm
for this process of awakening,

 but we must be open
to an inner knowing of which "season" we are in,

both personally, and as a school.

where the truth of our efforts

can be seen and where there is no judgement.

The higher help meets us to assure that we are accompanied by it,

Where is my heart this morning?

Looking through my eyes

The state of love flows

reaching strangers

A Potted Plant

I pull a sun from my coin purse each day.

And at night I let my pet the moon

Run freely into the sky meadow.

If I whistled,

She would turn her head and look at me.

If I then waved my arms,

She would come back wagging a marvelous tail 

Of stars.

There are always a few men like me

In this world

Who are house-sitting for God.

We share His royal duties:

I water each day a favorite potted plant

Of His--

This earth.

Ask the Friend for love.

Ask Him again.

For I have learned that every heart will get

What it prays for

Most.
