On Art...
Visual art, unlike mechanical progress, must be along the lines of self
consciousness, self-expression and the ability to 'see'. The more we
know and understand ourselves, the more we examine, collate and observe
our lives and art; the more accurately we can convey it to others. It is
the business of art to visually bring to full flowering and
consciousness what has been fermenting within us through our work and
ultimately to allow that which we are creating a voice or stage for
expression.
