Keeping the Journey Alive! - Online Workshop: Monday, July 20th - 7:30 PM (CST)
Do you find yourself getting swept up in the externals of daily Life? Do you find it difficult to move forward spiritually day to day? Do you have difficulty gaining traction along your inner path? Come join us as we unpack what can bring us joy and desire to propel us further along our spiritual journey. If a man begins to take life as work, then his whole relationship to existence begins to change, because the meaning of life changes for him. He sees life in another light, not as an end but a means, and this enables him to take what happens in life so that he learns from life and all that happens in life and in this way life becomes his teacher. ~ Maurice Nicoll, from Psychological Commentaries of the Teaching of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky, Vol I *Joe Zaklan is a professional guitarist and songwriter. He has been an active member of the Illinois Center of the Academy for over 20 years.
