Often the work grows in us,
unseen, as in winter's hibernation ...
and the seeds we plant,
the bulbs we let go fallow seemingly,
at the correct time, start to appear.
Yes much watering,
fertilizing, pruning must be done ...
but those seeds which may have been planted long ago,
grow silently in us over time,
just as our understandings do.
And then suddenly, a buffer falls,
or an idea springs forth as if new and unheralded.
