Bach used to write "to the greater glory of God"
in the margins of his music ...
he never forgot to be grateful for his immense gifts ...
He never forgot that the divine was working through him.
I have been pondering on the power of gratitude to heal,
to destroy identification,
to make us more open to the beautiful flow of divine energy
which grace can supply.
Stepping aside from one's preoccupations,
one's manic efforts to "do" everything,
we are given the gift of a larger perspective ...
Then we see more through the eyes of the gods, as Bach did.
If we step aside from our struggles,
the higher can work its magic through us.
Every one of the Conscious Beings we study shows us this ...
shows us the results of this ... in the beauty of their verifications,
their art, their eliminations.
We have their gifts to dip into and each time,
we are given both the gifts of their hearts and souls,
and the encouragement to follow a similar path,
the one WE make of our lives.
