It reminds me of Mervyn. 

His gaze inviting us into his world, 

he knew the challenges of life's allure all too well. 

It did not dissuade him from his path

to exemplify presence and to serve!

The Soul Connects...

The soul connects with all other willing hearts and souls, 

if we are only open to it. 

Putting the longings of the machine to the side, 

we are able to receive the warm flow of divine energy 

and letting it pass through us, 

we can be that gift to others.

I Love The Analogy...

I love the analogy of the breath, 

like the sea to the shore moment by moment. 

We can observe what is behind the breath what is looking, 

not with the eyes as Blake said. 

But through the eyes. 

Changing pace, 

spending time with students is a release like the sea teaches. 

Allowing the water to run deep 

and wash out what is not needed, 

to remind us that each second is a cleansing, 

an opening, 

a release an end and a beginning.

A Few Months Ago ...

A few months ago I awoke in presence

and although I knew my moving center would challenge the state, 

continuing, in that moment it came to me 

to set an intention for the day.- 

not me set the intention. 

It was a chance for me 

to invite my inner world to have a space in my day. 

I continued the practice and some mornings 

I noticed intention came right away 

and others not, but I had no I's about it either way. 

I had the realization this morning 

that it had not occurred to me 

to set an intention upon going to sleep.

Understanding Is Such An Elusive Goal...

Understanding is such an elusive goal, 

at times it seems to me almost impossible to reach. 

I find myself struggling often with impenetrable feeling, 

as if I am stuck far underground, 

and yet suddenly, 

I can shoot up from the darkness 

and a beautiful clarity comes, 

which to my surprise has been calmly waiting for me to see it all along. 

Sometimes all the pieces are in full view, 

and have been for some time 

and yet they simply haven’t formed themselves into the shape of the whole. 

Sometimes I am already living the answer, 

and yet cannot see it in its full meaning. 

I feel so strongly the importance of metaphor, 

of seeing poetically and symbolically. 

Sometimes the power of a piercing artistic expression

can surprise my heart

with the deeper meaning of a situation 

or take away the sense of struggle.

As I Grow Consciously...

As I grow consciously in the work 

I begin to not see my reflection in the mirror. 

I begin to see the collective in the mirror

and I become a chameleon. 

We are all the same, 

we just like to have an identity that we like to cling onto. 

The more I soften those edges and take on all the features, 

the smoother my life becomes and my soul gets in front.

Everything Is A Mirror....

Everything is a mirror. 

Creation, people, how I see others and myself. 

And I have a feeling that living in this Miraculous atmosphere

consists of joy, sweetness, understanding, 

and ease and deep acceptance. 

The heart and the soul. 

And I feel at this point

it is so vital with the change

that is ever happening as in nature

that when I am not in this Miraculous the machine has eclipsed. 

I/we must be vulnerable and open to dive deeper

into this purification. 

Photographs are everywhere. 

If we are not in the true nature of our being, 

the Miraculous, there is yet another opportunity to expand, 

grow, and learn. 

Our work has not finished. 

God has so much for us.

The Soul Is On A Pilgrimage...

The soul is on a pilgrimage, 

it is part of its payment, its experiences etc, 

but at certain parts of the road, shocks enter, 

joy enters, fates are transformed. 

If we walk this pilgrimage circle with the soul touching eternity, 

all is given to us. 

And that is the beautiful feeling for me in these present moments. 

That we are being served and in this, 

we can serve others rightly and stay in the sunlight

and starlight of the Gods at the same moment.
