Holy Third Force

"In The Virgin of The Rocks, all the figures: 

Mary, Jesus, the child John the Baptist, 

and of course the Angel are in a large cave that reflects 

the story in silent gestures and a beautiful and undeniable 

energy that glows and expands into the space they are all held in."

"And according to the scene in the background, their faces should 

be in shadow. But no! They are all shining! Lit from within, 

their inner world is protecting them and guiding them. 

A beacon. And Mary's robe, the golden cloth hints 

at a deeper sanctuary. Truly Holy & Sacred. 

The Angel's face is so beautiful. The light is golden 

in the cave, and it is everyone’s inner light 

which makes the leaves golden & glowing."

"To some, the setting may appear quite dark and gloomy, 

yet the artist Leonardo has used the symbols 

in such a perfect way to show us that their gathering 

is an invitation for the Holy Third Force 

“to join and dance, with them throughout a timeline, 

to create a perfect play of awakening. 

Each figure silently plays its part and 

communicates the desire throughout 

in this "Sanctuary”.
