There’s A Lot Of Urgency In This Work...

There’s a lot of urgency in this journey towards awakening,

because we never know when we’re going to die.

The dichotomy is between the urgency
with which you approach your work,

and being patient with "results,"
because so much is out of our control.

Dividing Attention in Nature...

Dividing attention in nature
is the super charger tool to higher states for me!

And the more I'm able to hold that space,

the more my mechanics have softened.

I Have That Recurrence of Being a Saint ...

Jacob Boehme

I have that recurrence of being a saint

or wanting to be perfect.

If I make those “super efforts” it’s going to happen

and so I observe this over and over.

I’m just realizing lately, that the patience,

the love of patience and just sitting and praying

and waiting and just accepting the moment

that you can’t fix it from the machine

but become the alchemist from the soul.

There is Nothing You Can DO About Awakening...

Marie Spartali Stillman

There is nothing you can DO about awakening.

Whatever you DO will be the ego trying to add awakening

or enlightenment to itself.

You CAN make a conscious choice to be present,

rather than indulge in useless thinking.

You can invite presence into your life, that is to say,

make space.

Instead of being lost in your thinking,

when you are awake you recognize yourself as the awareness behind it.

Through the present moment, you have access to the power of life itself,

that which has traditionally been called God.

~Eckhart Tolle
