To Go Deeper...

To go deeper, I have verified,
is the process of letting go of truly making space for the Soul....
and surrendering our lives to the Higher.
The system is very good at directing us... guiding us...
towards all of this but,
we all have verified over time the mind is a trickster
and our knowledge of the system
and how it applies to our machine can be subtly used against our aim
by our machine and others.
The best way,
I find is to allow space for the inner world...
intentionally...taking that time...
and taking it with us wherever we go.
This along with service to others....
will help break the imaginary separation
that our mind and false personality create.

I Am Drawn Back...

I am drawn back to Rilke's description of learning to fly,
and the necessity to first allow oneself to be heavy,
and to fall.
Sometimes we see that which we judge in ourselves,
and that weight can feel unbearable.
I am trying to hold with that feeling of weight
 (importance of realizations)
while letting go of the judgement (moving quietly into my higher self.)
Now I can add that image of a small bird (my emerging soul)
learning first to submit to the failures of the machine,
feeling the heaviness, and letting the fear and judgement go ...
It’s all part of learning the flight to the highest
we can achieve in this life.
Step by small step ...

Mercy is an Interesting Word...

Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones

Mercy is an interesting word...
and its use in our language, to me shows a connection to compassion.
The judge shows "mercy" on the convict
by giving them a lesser sentence..or not the death penalty.
The priest's final words to the criminal who is about to be executed is...
"and may God have "Mercy" on your Soul".
So the idea of "mercy" seems to be in the hands of power....
It is interesting to note that the machines who crucified Christ,
really showed very little Mercy ...at least to his machine.
So in regards to the Work...
we are asked to be merciful or show compassion to our mechanics,
understanding that "they know not what they are doing".
The "we" or "I" being our Soul...and
understanding that the Soul is the Real "power".

If the Only Prayer...

“If the only prayer you ever say
in your entire life is thank you,
it will be enough.”
