Men and women with awakened souls have walked through this earth for centuries. Their great gifts have changed the life of many. During the year of 1916, Rainer Maria Rilke  walked through the streets of Vienna. It is said he would meet almost daily with a painter, writer and an architect at the CafĂ© Imperial, all friends of his, Oskar Kokoschka, Karl Kraus and Adolf Loos...

.
...In the letters to a young poet, he reminds us:

"...You are looking outside, and that is what you should most avoid right now. No one can advise or help you - no one. There is only one thing you should do. Go into yourself...."

"....A work of art is good if it has arisen out of necessity...."

"....I can't give you any advice but this: to go into yourself and see how deep the place is from which your life flows....."

If we asked ourselves, how deep is the place from which my life flows, there would not be a right or a wrong answer to this question; but simply the reminder that we could see beauty if we had found it within our-selves. We can love if we have experienced love within our-selves.

Learning how to live is a work of art that springs into life perhaps out of the necessity to find a greater meaning. By enriching our life with impressions of beauty many questions can be answered. We will then find stories to be told everywhere; Stories that have a meaning in our lives and make us remember its beauty.

Grateful,
D
