Honoring and Serving...
When our souls fuse as One, it would seem that the body, being under the influence of the Divine Presence, and not wanting to be completely left out of the blissful state that the soul is enjoying, fades away with delight as much as possible. It almost stops breathing and the intermittent sighs it dares to emit, are at the same time its own lamentations at failing to reach the place where the soul dwells, quiet and timid complaints because it feels left behind, and ecstatic exhalations that the soul –loving and generous- allows it to produce.
It is with these tender attempts to avoid interfering and become unperceived, that the creature begins its surrender to the almighty Love that is permeating the soul, and recognizing it has been courted and allured, starts willingly to honor and serve that Love.
