In a highly emotional state we are flooded
by emotions and visions.
The wave of emotion will inevitably subside.
But the task is to fix the understanding that it brings
in order that this understanding may remain
even when the emotion that brought it has gone.
The person in whom new attitudes are fixed, permanent, reliable,
can be the instrument of higher powers.
