Blasted with Light

When the awakening rays hit man, we often hear phrases as “Blasted with Light”.  We read of the trances of Socrates the “Union of Plotinus” and the “Conversion of Paul”.  It is the awe and the light, which occurs when the individual soul mingles with the universal soul.
