Drawing on Daumal and the teachings of Gurdjieff, Ouspensky, Maurice Nicoll, and Jeanne de Salzmann, we will explore the mountain as an image of the inner life—where the summit may be hidden, the path uncertain, and yet each conscious step changes the climber.----- Tony Asta is an ordained minister for The Church of the Brethren and has been a member of the Illinois Center of the Academy for over 10 years.
