John Willliam Waterhouse
When one separates all the features
and manifestations of false personality,
what is left?
Awareness also called the Observing I.
We inhabit this body, this machine,
as we might wear a flesh garment.
In the end, we discard it.
Once discarded, what is left?
The past is comprised of memories that are now gone.
The future has not yet arrived.
What’s left is the present moment and our awareness of it.
