Paolo Veronese
Maurice Nicole writes that Lucifer fell
because his own version of what was true
was more important than what was good
and that Jesus points out
that in the beginning of our inner journey
we adhere to the literal version of truth, stone.
Then the next step is water, a higher version of truth,
the next wine, the highest
and then hopefully we realize what is good
and then which is the highest.
That truth can be cruel,
unrelenting and separate us from good,
whereas what is good merges us with the higher.
Perhaps relating to what is good is why Mervyn,
toward the end of his life
spent most of his time teaching us about love,
beauty and compassion.
And being present with us,
whereas earlier in his teaching
he had made considerable efforts
to teach us about the 48 laws, etc.
Mervyn appears to have gone to "The Good"
from the Truth
so he did all he could to help us make this transition.
