I Was Thinking...

I was thinking of an analogy the other day - 

that the Inner World is the ‘Sun’ 

and the I’s of the mind are the clouds that blot out the light. 

However, the sun is strong enough to melt away the clouds - 

burn them up so to speak. 

The soul is an active force, 

full of energy and radiance. 

With a little effort it can disperse the clouds, 

and the clouds come on the winds of the I’s. 

Perhaps, from this point of view, 

I see how ancient peoples worshipped the Sun. 

It must have reflected to them 

the glory of the inner self when they had higher states.
