Hide and Seek...
I play in my life a game of
hide and seek with God.
The other day I was about to catch him,
Curled around the petals of a rose,
And in a blink of an eye
He had escaped in the wings of a hummingbird.
And He disguises in so many ways,
That sometimes is difficult to see him.
I must make an extra effort
When He hides in the silver threads
Of a spider’s web,
Or when he rides a rat
Through the night.
But the most interesting disguises
That He comes up are all the
Different shapes, forms and personalities
That are represented as humans.
Come! Why won’t you join us?
Maybe you will find him
Swimming in one of my tears,
Or playing like the wind in
Your hair...
