An Oasis...

There are many ways of introspection and inner work. Ancient

teachings can be expressed through the language of the heart as

art, through the intellect as literature and science, or through

movement by using the main tool: our bodies.

Tools of Enlightenment called “Divided Attention Exercises" were

development. The dances that were taught by these schools opened

an internal space for reflection and meditation in motion.

Elias will provide the history of the Gurdjieff Sacred Dances. These

dances were created by mystic and spiritual guru G.I. Gurdjieff, who

combined Sufi and other traditions to explore the connection between

movement and spirituality. And, we will experience an introductory

lesson in the art of using these sacred movements to create conscious

harmony and inner peace.

Negative Emotions...

Negative Emotions...

Most of our negativity is predictable and often a person or a topic becomes a repeating source of negative emotions. We can anticipate a reoccurring negative response and avoid the negativity. Remember all negative emotions require your permission.

Remember negativity is contagious. It spreads like an infection. We can pass it to other students and weaken their first and second line of work. It is only when we begin to struggle with negativity in ourselves that we begin to minimize the effect of other’s negativity on us.

How long is each moment - today when present

engaging in life rather than standing by...

Standby - is that the choice of flight through life while asleep -
suspended as a puppet to the external influences?

of our inner-world gets re-oriented
