Love Seems To Be ...

Love seems to be the highest
and most noble aspect we can aspire to
in our lives and in our work.
The glimpses I share amongst you
are the most truly fulfilling and open
and teach my soul and my heart.
Love is the greatest teacher I believe.
It is not an easy teacher either.
I really do see there is payment,
mostly in seeing and digesting our sufferings.

Love Is ...

“Love is our greatest aim.

It would be folly to make it your aim to "Master the Machine." The Creature and the Soul have to lie down together, and this is not done by one "Oppressing" the other.

The aim is not to have one or the other, but to have them both (body and soul) functioning together. The machine thinks it has to give up its space to the Soul and this is not so. The Soul can and should join the Creature with what it is doing. They must learn to lie down together, not exist at each other's expense.”

We Are Given...

We are given the friction our Soul desires to awaken.
To be awake more and more.
Asleep less and less.

We Are Slowed Down Sound...

We are slowed down sound and light waves,
a walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the cosmos.
We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments
and our bodies are the instruments
through which our souls play their music.

I've Verified...

I've verified the centers of gravity can be asleep,
and totally mechanical,
or AWAKE --
and servants of the inner world,
thus bestowing the miraculous
in the smallest or largest movements.
Our Work shows itself to us
and we each have different Work
to integrate into our Being.

To Move...

To move, to breathe, to fly, to float,
To gain all while you give,
To roam the roads of lands remote,
To travel is to live."

Performing Music ...

Performing music is such a complex moving-centered activity,
small motions within larger gestures,
complexly ordered and coordinated.
When all the moving parts work together
well it feels almost like stillness,
what we call a "flow" state.
Every little bit in balance.
And yet we work years to tame small and large motions
to get to those rare glimpses of flow
in ourselves
and in our coordinated "dance"
with other musicians.

When I Am Walking...

When I am walking in nature
I feel it in its grandness
but not the majesty in its specifics.
I haven't developed the being for that.
But my inner world -
that requires both the telescope and the microscope.
All centers,
not just what comes easy to my essence.
And to show us this way,
we need a guide.
Like Mervyn, de Salzamann, Buddha, Gurdjieff.

Changes Take Place...

 Changes take place
for the universe is not static.
But I see how one can become stuck/
caught/crystallized in a memory
experience, etc.
So to keep the energy moving is important.

If We Surrendered...

Joyce Gibson

“If we surrendered
to earth's intelligence
we could rise up rooted, like trees.”

The Stained Glass...

The stained glass is amazing.
It is like a map of our work
that when we can hold it in all our centers
our path makes sense and is easier to trust.
The body (essence) is the lowest part of stained glass,
the material.
The middle is the soul where we have the potential to grow.
There is a conception point
where the material is touched by the spirit.
The rings around the soul
are our possibilities here caught in matter
but much more.
We are in a hard place,
 perhaps the hardest place.
But perhaps this the only place for us too.
The incorruptible spirit
is the blue flame above -
the electronic world.
When I can feel all this in my quietest place,
my inner journey makes sense.
As a growing soul,
I have to be open to the higher world
and the lower ordinary world.
As a can needs two opening points
for it's liquid contents to pour out steadily,
we have to have both doors open for a current to flow.
And amazing that when we are deeply connected to this
we can feel this current move through us.
And I feel it as joy,
gratitude, harmony,
grace, love.

Life Isn’t About...

"Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass -
It’s about learning to dance in the rain."
