Taking Responsibility...

The Leap....
I realize how important it is to break through our habitual ways of dealing with situations. I see more and more that in taking steps that seem scary, but important; in taking these "leaps" into the unknown, that so often we are greeted with a wonderful flow of support and positive energy, like a host of angels suddenly appearing. I have personally experienced a flood of aid at these junctures that is so surprising, so unexpected. I think sometimes we hesitate to do things which we know are good, because we think we know what will happen (and usually something not good.) We project a bad outcome, and so we hesitate. We hold ourselves back (sometimes for years) in this way, delaying our evolution.

Beauty of All Sorts....
It is possible to begin to look at even our spiritual lives in a humdrum, work-a-day way, full of tasks to accomplish, roads to follow...
And yet if we are open to the wonder of life, we can find it in the oddest places, just when we need it, the hydrogens float in like an angel, and lift us into that other stream of life, that is always flowing somewhere close at hand.
But we have to Remember that we need to be kinder to ourselves in these moments. I have found that beauty of all sorts helps me have the courage to fight my way out.

Magnetic Center
The magnetic center is the part of us that is attracted to the spiritual work. The Truth. It is what we all as students have in common. The magnetic center opens us to energy, the hydrogens. And it is so important because we all need to have those real and personal verifications of the Work. If we didn't feel the miraculous we would not desire this... who wants to suffer? Who wants to work when all the struggle is in the inner confines of our heart and minds? And the world doesn't acknowledge or rewards us for this?
