There is a Resistance...

Maurits Cornelis Escher

There is a resistance to just trusting and embracing the unknown,
the machine needs to know NOW.
The little 7 year old thinks in many ways in his formatory apparatus.
However for me there is not really an excuse…
I need to stay in the king of the intellectual center
and approach my questions with understanding.

It Seems That at The Heart Of It All...

It seems that at the heart of it all,
is to remember that the Work
is not in creating a perfect machine,
but in using our talents
to soar above those considerations of the world,
to stay in those higher hydrogens
where we may always be of service to the gods.

To Observe My Inner World...

To observe my inner world
and be real with where I am,
the wolf and the lamb are within me
as I try and conscientiously engage in this play with my soul.

As the Work Grows...

As the work grows and deepens in the heart,
the outer world demands also grow
and attract who we are becoming, inside and out.
Every day is a test an opportunity to meet life
and to greet others with the highest intentions.

The Progress of Man...

First he appeared in the realm inanimate;
Thence came into the world of plants and lived
The plant-life many a year, nor called to mind
What he had been; then took the onward way
To animal existence, and once more
Remembers naught of what life vegetive,
Save when he feels himself moved with desire
Towards it in the season of sweet flowers,
As babes that seek the breast and know not why.
Again the wise Creator whom thou knowest
Uplifted him from animality
To Man's estate; and so from realm to realm
Advancing, he became intelligent,
Cunning and keen of wit, as he is now.
No memory of his past abides with him,
And from his present soul he shall be changes.
Though he is fallen asleep, God will not leave him
In this forgetfulness. Awakened, he
Will laugh to think what troublous dreams he had.
And wonder how his happy state of being
He could forget, and not perceive that all
Those pains and sorrows were the effect of sleep
And guile and vain illusion. So this world
Seems lasting, though 'tis but the sleepers' dream;
Who, when the appointed Day shall dawn, escapes
From dark imaginings that haunted him,
And turns with laughter on his phantom griefs
When he beholds his everlasting home.

Love is Very Sacred...

Vincent Van Gogh

Love is very sacred
and in art and in many religious ancient traditions,
the sun is used as a symbol of this radiating and heart opening love,
once the inner world is awakened by this 'sacred and solar light'
the soul is somehow safe,
protected, even capable of opening
and inducing this light in the heart of others.

In Self-remembering...

Elisabeth Sonrel

In self-remembering,
as we bring in a constant awareness of the higher,
we can transform the most mundane moment
into one of joy and deeper realizations.
It takes just a moment to transform everything,
a pause in our talking,
a looking more deeply into someone's eyes.
The state we are seeking is there all along ...
we just have to make space for it to manifest.

I Was Brought to Ponder on Transformation...

I was brought to ponder on Transformation,
what a wonderful word and process!
Trusting that the forms around us
and the very things on this earth
all have their place and we amidst them.
Trusting, trusting, trusting in all that is taking place.
This image of the Buddha
with his hand  placed pointing to the earth,
we can feel the whole of the image
alive in transforming, all has its place.

“The More We Let God Take Us Over...

“The more we let God take us over,
the more truly ourselves we become -
because He made us.
He invented us.
He invented all the different people
that you and I were intended to be. . .
It is when I turn to Christ,
when I give up myself to His personality,
that I first begin to have a real personality of my own.”

Time is a Sort of River of Passing Events...

Time is a sort of river of passing events,
and strong is its current;
no sooner is a thing brought to sight than it is swept by
and another takes its place, and this too will be swept away.

~Marcus Aurelius

"The Cloud of Unknowing" ...

"The cloud of unknowing"
In the last chapters the author writes
of those times when we feel alone and abandoned.
He explains that it is God's way
of having our soul become supple & strong
and his goings and comings stretch you,
secretly testing your soul,
gentling you to do his work.

In the Beautiful Act of Having Faith...

In the beautiful act of having faith in oneself
there is an inherent acquiescence
to a "higher Right" or a higher truth...
perhaps it is a more divine perspective.

I Have Found That Faith...

I have found that faith strengthens over time,
for me, by verifications found in various places particularly reading.
So finding the same sayings
over and over but from diversly different people,
ages and countries.
The profound truths that are there for us to discover
when we have faith to continue looking
and faith to use them in our lives.
The stronger my faith the stronger my relationship to Higher truths
and the more there is to verify.
