I've Been "Seeing" Aspects of Myself...

Pablo Picasso

I've been "seeing" aspects of myself,
my ordinary self that have been difficult to see, to bear.
Yet this is necessary,
for the old ways/aspects to drop off
so something new can enter.
All one can do is ask for help,
guidance, and that's actually a lot...
for to see these things in my self,
in a part of my self, is a big thing and to ask for help in a real place,
in a sincere part of me.
It has been humbling, good,
and something that is difficult at the same time.

Ready Am I to Go...

Ready am I to go,
and my eagerness with sails full set awaits the wind.
Only another breath will I breathe in this still air,
only another loving look cast backward,
And then I shall stand among you,

a seafarer among seafarers.

And you, vast sea, sleeping mother,
Who alone are peace and freedom to the river and the stream,
Only another winding will this stream make,

only another murmur in this glade,
And then I shall come to you,
a boundless drop to a boundless ocean.

A Drop in a River Begins Small...

A drop in a river begins small,
somewhere in the forest,
and gathers more water and life to itself
upon its journey from the mountains back to the ocean.
Eventually, as it perseveres,
it joins with trillions and trillions of water molecules —
all moving in a massive rhythm of oneness.
One by one, the droplets evaporate as mist into the sky
and eventually begin their journey again.
Not so unlike our lives, and lifetimes.
We feel separate but with hydrogens in a higher state,
we are part of the oneness.
Eventually, we will learn fully that we are eternal as we change forms.
What a gift this life is!

Mervyn Spent Time Writing...

Mervyn spent time writing with such detail
about the moments of his life in which REAL memories had formed,
those moments of higher understanding
which he strung together like a beautiful row of pearls.
Not just in his own heart,
but so very clearly and poetically for us, his students.
And he left us moments of beauty
which would unfold later,
as we evolved, and blossom in our hearts,
creating moments of higher understanding;
that string of pearls is still unfolding.

The Color of Your Ocean Will Change...

The Color of Your Ocean Will Change

It is possible that just a drop of dye from
a vial the Friend holds could change the color
of an ocean.

I know I have talked about this in different
poems, this basic concept,

but will now say it from a slightly different
angle in case that first arrow I shot completely
missed.

The presence of a Perfect One reaches a seed that
is planted in you,

and from that divine warmth, God will lose His
shyness, thaw as it were, and no matter what now,

Now matter what you do , the sacred will begin to
grow inside. The color of your ocean will change.

The drop of holy water, the needed dye, has
touched your forehead,

the air did that to you at birth, as did the first
hands that touched you,

and the soft walls - so many times- of your
Mother's  womb you lay against.

''Old ideas"...

''Old ideas" are the left overs of formatory mind.
It is important to let go and be open and free
to the flow of the inner world.
The machine always creates denying force,
most of it is not real.
To stay in a high place of hydrogens is a good foundation.
Old Ideas often pop up in a state of identification;
if I am really open they often vanish.

The Work is Happening...

"The work is happening amongst us
on every level but also on a great Cosmic scale."

If One Learns to Listen to Heart...

If one learns to listen to heart, it will tell one things so clearly—
what must be done, what must not be done,
the real nature of people and places and things.
Only it speaks so quietly, so subtly,
and immediately a flood of reactions, explanations,
excuses, theories have swamped it,
and we do not even recognize it speak.
Only listening carefully to what it wants to say,
and remaining still until it has spoken,
one cannot really do the wrong thing.

When Speaking with a Student...

When speaking with a student
who is photographing me with love,
I can hear things I would not be able to hear otherwise.
Especially when that photograph increases my understanding,
and allows me to look on my frailties with love,
instead of judgement.
