One of my favorite chapters from Lao Tzu is #47.......
"Without going anywhere,
you can know the whole world.
Without even opening your window,
you can know the ways of heaven."
You see: the further away you go, the less you know....
The sage does not need to travel around;
Why? Because he can still understand.
He sees without needing to see,
he never does anything, and yet....it all happens....
For me, this is a reminder that no matter how long one
has been on the path of awakening.....that it is ultimately an inward journey....
That it within ourselves....our Being...
that we will ultimately discover who we are and what we are to "Do".
