A Few Weeks Ago...

A few weeks ago we were in St. Paul’s Cathedral here in London 

and we were delighted and surprised to see a painting, 

that both Mervyn and Renee had frequently spoken about, 

The Light of the World by Hunt, a pre-Raphaelite.

“Behold, I stand at the door and kneel; 

if any man hear my voice, and open the door, 

I will come in to him,

and will sup with him, and he with Me.”

It struck me that this is true of all of the conscious beings, 

that if we are still, present and concentrate 

on that conscious being they will come to us.

A few months before Mervyn went to the other side 

we were celebrating his birthday at his schoolhouse in Queretoro.

We were all enjoying ourselves when he said, 

stop, you aren’t present. 

The rest of the evening was a meeting.

I was double fortunate because I was sitting next to Mervyn 

and could see his presence and being reflected back

in all the faces looking at him! 

Mervyn and all of his fellow conscious being 

are so close and reaching out to us.

This reminds me of a quote Renee liked,

 if we take one step toward G-d, 

he will take a thousand steps towards us.

This Sculpture Says Something...

This sculpture says something very important for me: 

Keep reaching for the higher.  

Invite the Gods in. 

Don’t buffer what is here. 

Let the gods see all of me. 

Through Self Remembering,

 I open the channel with a continuous prayer. 

And in a timing not my own, 

understandings will reach me, true wisdom. 

For in this way. God is in everything and I shall See.

I Have Verified That With Real Suffering...

I have verified that with real suffering, 

all that is unnecessary falls away

and I am gifted with clarity as to what is really important. 

If I can hold through the experience, 

new understanding unfolds and I am gifted

with the grace of some bit of personal evolution. 

With unnecessary suffering, 

there are so many confusing "i's". 

A very different experience. 

But important as well, 

because that sort of suffering is a real block. 

Seeing these moments for what they are

can be an opportunity for growth of a different sort, 

teaching us how to let go of what is false in us.

A Couple of Nights Ago...

A couple of nights ago, I was sitting in silence

and I had such a longing for harmony, quiet, beauty. 

Longing for an experience... a KOH dinner? a walk on the beach? 

Something. 

In truth that longing was to live my life

connected to this beauty and grace and harmony. 

If I can live connected to my KOH hearts, 

I know it would be easier to be present and connected to God.

Feminine Dominance...

Feminine Dominance is what keeps us in line, 

from stopping at the stop sign 

to raising our hand in a meeting 

to getting to work on time, etc. 

It is dogma which in and of itself has a purpose. 

For the Work, 

I feel it is a matter of scale and seeing 

how it does not serve our process, 

but rather hinders it. 

One could say that being faithful in a relationship 

is a form of Feminine Dominance. 

But conversesly, it can be seen as Serving the State of Love.

When FD is broken 

it causes upset and dis ease and is often seen as crime which, 

without getting political, 

is what perhaps is happening in the US at the moment. 

But, has it not been in many cases the breaking of FD, 

even by Jesus, 

that helped awaken souls and propel humankind forward?

For Me What is Coming Up...

William Holman Hunt

For me what is coming up is honesty.  

In my work these days

it seems I am being pushed 

to observe more with honesty in where I am. 

My machine still thinks it can do.  

When I encounter feminine dominance lately 

I see my machine react with willfulness and resistance.  

In fact, I see a lot of resistance in my reactions to life. 

During my vacation, I heard Rodney’s words 

“life is always in the right”. 

This is where my Being must move to.  

To really serve the work, which for me, in the moment, 

means serving life with whatever is.

I Believe...

I believe that trust is needed to release buffers,

and that it really important

to have a willingness to 'surrender' buffers. 

Those edges are buffers to me which have to be removed 

in order to evolve further.

However, we need the cosmos of the school

in order to see them and have the ability

to let go of those edges. 

Certainly, trust is needed for that, 

and an acceptance of the school as a working cosmos.

I Have Observed...

I have observed so many aspects of myself over the last week. 

So many in all honesty ” I” don’t like. 

It seems for me, 

that much of the way out of these lower parts of myself, 

is to make the effort to dive into these waves and then patiently wait, 

with kindness, for it seems to go forward. 

My heart must open more, kindness, patience, 

understanding, all aspects of the heart. 

I see right now so much of my heart seems closed

and I then after seeing continuously must wait. 

And let what happens, happen.
