Be Patient...

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart 
and try to love the questions themselves, 
like locked rooms and like books 
that are now written in a very foreign tongue. 
Do not now seek the answers, 
which cannot be given you 
because you would not be able to live them. 
And the point is, to live everything. 
Live the questions now. 
Perhaps you will then gradually, 
without noticing it, 
live along some distant day into the answer.

In Two Weeks...

In two weeks I have to introduce a speaker for an event

an organization I am involved with is having. 

Last night, when asked what I was going to say, 

I mechanically started talking about

how this woman had moved me

and what an inspirational speaker she is... blah blah blah. 

When I woke up early this morning, 

I said some prayers and was staying quietly in bed…

without even thinking about working on the introduction

it all started to come to me with such ease. 

Ah…my soul took over without even asking. 

I had taken the time to be still and open and was gifted.

In the Wednesday meeting with Ollie in NYC, 

one of the things he talked about was Aim.  

This morning this was really verified

and made things so clear to me how this school works

and what my aim is. 

My job here is to connect to the higher, 

as often as humanly possible, 

and to be open enough

to have that flow express herself 

 through me in everyday life.

 And live,  “thy will be done”,  as a channel of light for others. 

Now writing this, 

I know I already knew this about the school

and the desire to live “conscious harmony”. 

But somehow this experience

went to a deeper level of understanding into knowledge.

Our Level of Being...

Our level of being

is our ability to hold the state of presence

and serve the state and the other person or persons from that state. 

It is what we call 2nd Line Work in its highest form.

When I see external considering I translate it as being kind. 

For me, it is being as kind as possible

according to one's level of being.

treating everybody the same, treating all souls equal.

The More My Work Grows...

The more my Work grows, 

the more I verify what Ouspensky said 

"External Consideration is the outward form of Self Remembering."

I find the more "Conscious" I am of others around me, 

not only is my own state of hydrogens lifted, 

but they are too. 

Being "mindful" -- truly, 

deeply mindful, of others -- 

is transforming. 

Inner considering vanishes and kindness emerges.

As We Are Present...

As we are present and truly on our path

I Can Say That It's Because Of The Work...

I can say that it's because of the work 

that I've been able to experience "Grace" 

for the first time and understand (through experience) what it is. 

It's because of the work that I've been given, first, 

the understanding that I need to pay attention to my inner states, 

and two, 

the tools by which to start to control the inner states 

rather than having them control me.

It's only when I practice letting go 

of the notion that I know what things/

situations/circumstances around me are, 

that something new comes in.

Yesterday When I Ran Out Of The House...

Yesterday when I ran out of the house to go to work,

I opened the gate onto the street and heard water trickling, 

it was as simple as that. 

And then I felt the presence of my soul

merging with the beauty of water and everything else around me. 

The words, “The Holy Spirit is spread throughout the whole world, 

but we do not see it“ came to me, over and over, very gently.

The water was just running down the street

a little, someone was watering their garden, 

it triggered this recognition in my inner world

and gave me a lift the whole day, and an understanding of these words from Rilke, 

“ to go forward with your whole life”.
