Our World ...

 

Our world 

is a beautiful magical place to live, 

to become human and do our Work. 

But the world is also filled with confusion, 

destruction and suffering. 

I find myself wrestling 

between the two polarities — 

the glorious beauty 

of the birds’ dawn chorus at sunrise 

and the weeping of family’s 

who have been driven from their homes by war. 

I stand in present witness. 

I remember myself. 

And I remember, 

God is good. 

And also mysterious.

The Reason ...

 

The reason 

that it usually takes self-remembering 

to see the third force 

is that it is usually invisible to the machine. 

For example - 

we may be aware 

of the father and the son, 

but it takes self-remembering 

to feel the Holy Ghost.

I Think It’s Important ...

 

I think it’s important 

to keep trying to understand 

and forgive our unconscious selves 

and see that if it could have been different 

it would have been. 

For that to happen 

we would have to override mechanical reactions -  

and also if the law of recurrence 

is to be believed 

we can work in this life 

so that we heal the past 

and it does not recur 

in the next lifetime in the same way.

Working ...

 

Tim Hall

Working and removing buffers is difficult work. 

I was pierced by a bramble thorn last week, 

removing weeds, 

same as last year. 

It remains stuck in my finger 

until the body finds a way to work it out. 

It does not just "happen". 

Some things, buffers, negativity etc. 

remains 'Stuck’ and creates discomfort. 

The work is the balm 

that can create third forces, 

self remembering, 

the ease and space to see.

I Feel Buffers...

 

I feel buffers and recurrence 

are intimately connected. 

I tend to buffer the same things 

and then attract the same recurrences. 

Until I am able to See myself, 

then pause and be Present, 

it’s when I can begin to choose differently. 

But to See one’s machine, 

it’s very painful sometimes. 

So, one needs to go through pain and acceptance 

as a way to work with buffers. 

I feel buffers are also connected with our chief feature. 

It’s beautiful how to work on one law 

helps to work with many other laws.
