I Think That The Process Of Observation ...

I think that the process of observation
is one that never ends in this work.
With observation
there is a refinement that can occur.
Self-remembering
is a third force for this refinement.
There is an opportunity
to learn in almost every moment.

A real work of art...

Frida Kahlo

A real work of art is not static.
It's alive and vibrating on another level.
So powerful,
and the meaning changes
as we grow & deepen in being.

Because Most Of What We Say...

"Because most of what we say
and do is not essential.
Ask yourself at every moment,
"Is this necessary?""

In Terms Of The Three Forces...

Arthur Secunda

In terms of the three forces of a triad,
one of the important points to note
is that they are continually changing position.
Think of it as a triangle.
At any time active passive and neutralizing
can change position.
In terms of our work
it is important to keep these three forces
moving and not get stuck.
This usually takes self-remembering
to be aware of them.

Upon Hearing...

Upon hearing the word ATTENTION,
something inside of me 'wakes up',
a 'standing up within oneself'.
One thing at a time, full attention.
YET, there is a division
between the outer and the inner.
Most mysterious!
There was a point in my life,
not too long ago,
where I was in great inner turmoil.
It seemed to come on full force,
the many I'd
when I was cleaning the darkroom (after teaching).
The i's would come in and attack.
It was brutal.
I made the effort
to concentrate on what I was doing -
cleaning, mixing chemicals, etc.,
and be fully present to the task at hand.
It worked.
The i's went to the background,
and I was in Presence.
Attention.
In Attention.

Awakening Is Possible...

“Awakening is possible
only for those who seek it and want it,
for those who are ready
to struggle with themselves
and work on themselves
for a very long time
and very persistently
in order to attain it.”

The Word Attention...

The word attention has a secret, no?
The act of it can never be passive -
there is a tension within me
to be aware of the external and internal world
at every moment,
every breath to stay present
and act as a beacon in this world for higher forces,
to willingly sacrifice and submit to their aims -
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as in heaven
It is hard sometimes
to admit to one's self
that if we cannot be present
during an activity or pursuit,
we must abandon it,
even if it is dear to our machine,
only keep what we can continue in presence.
Climb the ladder.

My Aim As A Student ...

Lilya Kravetska

My aim as a student
is to Observe all the little useless lies
and Work to replace them with Truth.
And to overcome my Fear feature
and Vanity
enough to both give and receive truth.
And my aim is also,
when I deliver the truth -
when normally my machine finds it easier
to just let someone believe their lie -
to deliver my truth from my inner world.
In a state of Love and self-remembering.
This is a big stage for our Work
as Students and also as a School.

Perhaps Pinocchio Is A Good Example ...

Perhaps Pinocchio is a good example
of how we can stop lying.
In his initial development
he was completely mechanical, lying,
taking a hammer to destroy his conscience, etc.
Only when his father, Geppetto,
went out to sea to find him,
and his heart opened
with concern for the welfare of Geppetto,
overriding all mechanical concerns,
did the higher,
in different forms come to his aid
and then he became a real boy.
The challenge with our trying
to do this on our own
is that it can be difficult for us
to discern the difference between what is false
and what is real,
so opening the heart is a good option.
