What is Love?

 

What is Love?

The way schools like ours see it - 

A and B meet; two people meet,

and there is an activation of sex energy or attraction - 

so, they start to come closer and higher in theory.

It's like the letter 'A'

They start coming up the legs of the the letter 'A.'

At a certain point, if there is enough energy,

the line would cut across, and you have a 

triangle.

At that point, sex energy turns into Love.

At that point, you can look into the other

person's eyes and actually awaken each other's

Soul.

But we forget.

We don't know what it is.

We can forget it very quickly.

Where is Your Soul?

Where is your soul?  If I asked you, is it in your hand, in your foot, or in your ear? You don't know? Yet, you all believe we have one; but you don't know anything about it.  

It is kind of like love. Everyone talks about that too, but we don't know how to describe it.  We don't know what it is. We don't even have the words, and in the same way with our soul, we don't know how to connect with it.  We think we can, but if we are pushed a little bit, we don't know what to say - it comes out of feeling

When Something Happens...

 

When something happens,

like losing a loved one, 

or becoming ill, etc., 

it is a profound reminder that each breathe is a gift, 

we aren't in charge. 

Sometimes when our life is "going along nicely" 

we can easily forget that, 

just like the trees, the animals, etc., 

the length of our life isn't determined by us. 

In our case, 

even the quality of our consciousness isn't up to us, 

we can make efforts 

but whether or not the higher responds to us, 

is up to God.

There Are Many Paintings...

 

Rembrandt

There are many paintings 

depicting Jacob wrestling with the Angel. 

In almost all of them, 

the Angel is holding Jacob gently but firmly. 

The look on the Angel's face 

is one of compassion & patience. 

Jacob has to be ready 

to give up the fight and yield. 

The Angel is there, 

waiting, holding, loving Jacob. 

Until Jacob exhausts himself, 

the Angel won't interfere.

My Guiding "I"...

 

My Guiding "I"  

pointed out that all along 

what I am doing as a Man 

was creating my own eternity.

How glorious to realize 

my moments with each one of you are immortal? 

This is why it is so important

to be "Lovely" to each other.

 

I invite you to come 

and loaf with me through the ions, 

and what I want from you 

is what I can but give you.

Create the eternity you want now, 

extract it from the mire of life, 

as a young girl

collecting the fruit of an orchard 

or flowers from a spring field. 

Collect,

and remember.

I Reflect ....

 

William Blake

 I reflect on what purification means, 

not in an intellectual way, 

but as an act of remembering who we truly are. 

I'm reading The Divine Comedy, 

and today I began the Purgatory chapter. 

Dante says there is the place 

where souls begin to get purified. 

Many times, 

I feel I am at the purgatory realm in life 

and I get desperate, 

then I remember to be Present 

and I begin to Realize (real eyes) 

the "horror of the situation”, 

as Gurdjieff says, 

also the miracles that surround us; 

so the more present I can become 

at any situation, 

then the more I allow God 

to experience itself through my experiences. 

No judgment, 

just being there, 

Present.

Observing Is A Way...

 

Observing is a way 

towards becoming present. 

However, 

Mervyn has showed us a clearer way 

and that observation 

can be quite intellectual, 

which puts us under more laws. 

One needs to use the Emotional Center 

as a way up to the Higher Emotional Center. 

This can be done in many ways, 

but Mervyn has verified 

that doing what one loves 

will bring one closer to the gods.
