I’m Realizing...

 I’m realizing 

what has opened my heart to accept myself 

and others is also one of the barriers to love. 

Knowing our own body type, 

center of gravity and alchemy 

is exceptionally useful. 

And observing to assess the same in others 

is very helpful to accept the play.

To Be Open...

A Fellow Student...

Pierre Auguste Cot  

A fellow student spoke to me recently 

about having more difficulty 

receiving love than giving love. 

I have been pondering this, 

seeing some real wisdom here. 

Sometimes love comes in curious forms, 

as in the "i's" of fellow students, 

or close relationships in life. 

When I push away the mirror 

that can sometimes 

give me views of myself I would rather deny, 

then I am refusing a gift, 

and as it seems, 

blocking the free channels of love, 

from both directions. 

I am trying to do less of that. 

Especially with those I love, 

for whom those "gifts", 

if received instead with love, 

can open up new channels for this higher energy.

I Am Thankful...

 

I am thankful for each one of you 

and for the opportunity to be in The Academy, 

which has been and continues to be a gift. 

I can say that 

while the machine holds gratitude 

for this space and opportunity, 

it is not an overly emotional gratitude. 

This is because 

the equation of personal work and soul is complex.

I had no conception 

of what it meant to "work on myself" 

when I met the Academy and Mervyn. 

It is only after the long process (for me) 

of trying to Remember Myself, 

a struggle that is still ongoing, 

that I am able 

to begin to stand on the foundation 

of all that School and Work represents. 

This is where my thankfulness resides. 

Because it is the process of seeing myself 

in the eyes and I's of you, 

my fellow students, 

that I am able to begin 

to shed that which is false in me 

and hopefully begin to be filled with that which is higher.

For Me...

 

For me when the machine is winning, 

I pray for help to lean left to the heart. 

I pray hard sometimes 

as the wolf can be so strong at times.  

The prayer usually works, 

as in a meeting such as this 

which is music to my soul 

which has been watching the battle all week.
