For Me...

 

Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones

For me 

it has been a process 

to be able to relate to this high conscious being. 

First growing up where in temple, 

a point was made that he wasn't the savior 

and then from the Christian point of view 

that he was. 

But now I'm beginning to be able to relate to him 

as a special teacher, 

who developed enough 

to be able to relate to the highest in people, 

even under the most difficult of circumstances. 

In some circles 

it is related that he travelled to Egypt 

where he grew in his understandings and being 

and then returned to Israel. 

This version makes it easier for me 

to learn from him, because, in it, 

he wasn't born fully developed 

but over many years, 

grew into the being he became.

King Of Clubs...

King of Clubs is a very rare machine. 

The intellectual part of the instinctive centre is,

 as we understand it is “the cleverest wolf in the pack.” 

I used to look at a couple of boxers and compare them. 

One was Mike Tyson. 

I reckoned that 

he was the moving/instinctive part 

of the King of Clubs, i.e. a total killing machine. 

The other was Frank Bruno. 

He was, I reckoned, 

the emotional part of the King of Clubs. 

What this meant, 

in relation to each other, 

was that although they were both the same card, 

one distinctly had the final advantage in a fight. 

If you look at successful businessmen 

you may see the King of Clubs quite often 

in machines that appear to be devoid of any emotion whatsoever.

I View This Man ...

I view this man 

as one who is working on himself. 

As I'm entering old age, 

I felt a connection with this man. 

He's tired, 

yet his strength is coming from within. 

He is not giving up. 

It inspires me. 

The body, my body, 

at times just wants to rest! 

To "take it easy". 

Yet, I know my time on earth is counted. 

I know I must make extra efforts 

both in the outer world and in my inner world.

It Feels So Important ...

 

It feels so important in our work now 

to be together and experience this gift 

whether it be in person, 

online or through e-mails, etc. 

This gift and reciprocal feeding, 

where an exchange of love is taking place 

grows our inner worlds 

much faster than any words from a book could.

I Have Verified ...

I have verified 

the beauty and the delicate power 

of the soul connection. 

The simple fact 

of experiencing this invisible gift 

and feeling the presence 

and growth of another dear soul - 

it lifts and inspires mine. 

We can help and feed each other 

in experiencing moments

The Soul ...

At The Center...

...At the center of our being 

is a point of nothingness 

which is untouched by sin and by illusion, 

a point of pure truth, 

a point or spark which belongs entirely to God, 

which is never at our disposal, 

from which God disposes of our lives, 

which is inaccessible to the fantasies of our own mind 

or the brutalities of our own will. 

This little point of nothingness 

and of absolute poverty 

is the pure glory of God in us. 

It is so to speak 

His name written in us in our poverty, 

as our indigence, 

as our dependents, as our sonship. 

It is like a pure diamond, 

blazing with the invisible light of heaven. 

It is in everybody, 

and if we could see it 

we would see these billions of points of light 

coming together in the face and blaze of a sun 

that would make all the darkness 

and cruelty of life vanish completely... 

I have no program for this seeing. 

It is only given. 

But the gate of heaven is everywhere.
