Sometimes When We Are Stretched ...

Sometimes when we are stretched
beyond our endurance,
and realize the limits of our extreme efforts,
it is then at that moment when aid arrives
when we are best able to appreciate and make use of the gift.
Somehow our efforts,
although seemingly so inadequate,
call the help of the gods.
But like with Jesus,
we have to endure the crucifixion first.

Where There Is Love...

Where there is love,
God is within us.
Wherever we see something beautiful.
God is there.
God made all that is beautiful;
it is man who makes ugliness.
Real love does not stop at a person or an object;
if it is real it goes on to God.
Nothing real ever disappears.
If it disappears it is not real.
What is not true always disappears for it has never been.

For Me...

For me when a very strong identification
of a feature arises,
the 'setting of intention' is to get back to a state of presence.
'Stay in the room' is one of the first tactics,
to stop the mind following its imaginations.
Also to hold on for 72 hours
before responding/speaking if others are involved.
'Do no harm' while in negative emotion states.

I Have Received...

I have received so much help in my life.
My prayers have been answered
too many times to count
and there is almost no way I can ever repay.
But even though I have received so much help
it is only me that can do my Work.
I become the denying force when the help received.
Will I make the efforts needed?
So receiving help is magical and miraculous
but we still have to walk the walk -
to make the sacrifices needed to serve the intention we have set.
Sometimes it's easy, other times, not so much.
But asking for help is so important,
but following through is our part of the bargain.

Be Not The Slave ...

Ivan Grozdanovski

Be not the slave of your own past.
Plunge into the sublime seas,
dive deep and swim far,
so you shall come back with self-respect,
with new power,
with an advanced experience
that shall explain and overlook the old.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
