I most often recognize the presence of Grace in those moments where I see clearly what I cannot DO by my own efforts alone. If I can have Acceptance of this inability to "do," humility comes in, and with this surrender. I am flooded with a sense of Grace, flooded with aid. Then I am reminded that I do not need to try to walk this path alone; that there is always the possibility of higher aid, if only I will submit to it. In those moments when I am transported by art ... or music … as in this beautiful meeting here with you all ... I can also feel this state of Grace so strongly.
