The Academy Is Changing...

The Academy is changing.

The Pure event for which we have been preparing 

for such a long and interesting time, 

is slowly sliding into being.

Like waking up one day and realising

one is an adult.

Somewhere there was an invisable membrane 

which divides childhood and adulthood

 and suddenly without warning 

one has moved from one to the other.

The Academy is different.

It is no longer the School we started 

so many years ago in Miranda's house in London.

The room was lit by a Globe of the Earth 

that Miranda had bought for her Son.

I remember saying to this little group of people

"You have no idea what is been concieved here tonight"

And the Light inside the Globe went out.

This was not imagination, 

it may have been coincidence.

4 of the 5 people who were there, 

are still in The Academy and that was 11 years ago.

We now have branches in LA, Austin, 

New York, South Africa, Van Couver, 

Tucson,Mexico, now Chicago 

and of course London with Germany patiently waiting.

We have been given more abilities since then 

and I do feel that whoever  C Influence are?

I trust they are pleased with their work.

For I know that nothing could have been different...

Nothing.

I have watched each of you over the years 

been carved from your original shells 

and I have been honoured 

to watch your respective unfoldings.

I have learned so much from you all by learning 

to see through your senses and feeling your feelings 

both joyful and sorrowful.

The hard work of splitting in the dark 

underground like a seed has been done 

and we have prevailed into the light. 

We are now like the plant growing 

and soon something of indiscribeable beauty 

will emerge....Our Flowering, 

followed in due course by our Fragrance.

I want to thank you all 

for your part in this a most divine play

Mervyn Used To Say ...

Samuel Gray

Mervyn used to say, "we have an "I" every three seconds". 
I can see him sitting there with his watch, 
demonstrating, and humming. 
When meditating,

Only With Others...

Only with others, 

my emotional center is engaged 

and is motivated enough to sustain a Moment, 

or read something to share at a meeting. 

Today I was waiting for the meeting to begin, 

in order to share ideas, 

angles, thoughts on the Work, 

not ordinary LIFE stuff. 

Life makes me dizzy, and deaf and dumb. 

I need FOOD 

and only with others and through other students 

I am able to BE HERE more.

As I Sit Here...

As I sit here I have verifications every day.

 

 

But they are not the big sexy ones 

about huge higher states, 

and the Gods piercing me, 

or my soul seeing the inside of an orange 

or floating under the noses of people at King of Hearts dinners 

(as Mervyn used to describe).

No. 

Mine are once again noticing when I am negative, 

identified, seeing my body type 

and feature over and over and over again.

The machine then produces I's that say,

"hey man, you've been in the Work

for a long time. 

Isn’t time to graduate from these?”

But what else can I do? 

This is what I am shown. 

These are the doors I am going through. 

Yes, there have been major experiences that propel me forward. 

And I constantly try to push myself to deepen my understandings. 

But I have to be real

and patient and trust and, 

for me keep serving.

In The Academy...

When I am Present ...

When I am present there are no identifications. 

I observe an “i” and let it go. 

Dividing attention is such a powerful practice. 

To maintain focus on my breath, 

a piece of music, the touch of my fingers on the keyboard, 

all at once, well then there is no room for incessant thoughts, 

no space for them to take root. 

And then I am in the realm of the soul 

where true thought can blossom.

Then understanding has the possibility of developing.

I Have Been Feeling ...

I have been feeling even when I was a very little girl

this desire to help those in need. 

To bring harmony. 

When I do something in my essence, 

like teach a yoga class, or write a poem, 

or support a mission that I believe in; 

it feeds my soul with inSpiration (spirit), 

aliveness, and joy.

It is truly a gift what we have been given. 

And the conscious beings before us 

left us a trail through their essence.

The world needs it. 

We need it. 

To be infused with the nectar of our and His divine light. 

It gives us purpose. 

We want to get out of bed

and be present to the miracle of divinity

and how it wants to serve through us. 

We get fed through our essence

and how we add to the celestial pot.

With the Work...

With the Work, 

we little by little accustom ourselves

to the brilliance of the soul, 

first in ourselves, and then in others, in all of nature. 

Or perhaps it is the other way around. 

We delight in those who have "washed the gums" from our eyes, 

so we can see the harmony of creation all around us, 

feel it's connections, live its essence...

And then we "live the questions" 

until we finally begin to see our true place in it all, 

our True Personality and Essence. 

Perhaps it is some of both.

The biggest step for me, though, 

has been giving myself permission

over and over to really learn to SEE, 

and more importantly 

to freely BE who I realize I have been all along.
