To Be A Man

To Be A Man...

A Man is somebody who has a soul and a body
and is connected to the Gods.
That is the TRINITY.
Man was made
 in the image of
God.
To be a Man
is the
highest
order
of
creation.

The Silkworm

This wonderful quote from St. Teresa reminds
us all to shed our False Personality and get on with the Work.

~S

"..And so when the silkworm is fully developed,
it begins to build the house in which it will die
(and becomes a butterfly) ... So let's get on with
it my friends! Let's do the work quickly and spin
the silken cocoon, relinquishing our
self-centeredness and personal willfulness,
and giving up our attachment to worldly things.
We have learned exactly what to do. Let's
do it! Let it die. Let the silkworm die. This is the
natural outcome once it has done what it was
created to do.  Then we will see God, and see
ourselves nestled inside his greatness like the
silkworm in her cocoon."

On Accounts...

Student: How do we let go of accounts (grudges we hold) with others?

Mervyn Brady:  One might be to remember how often others have ‘forgiven your trespasses’ against them.  The machine likes accounts – at a certain point, when you have accumulated enough – they will stop you going higher.  In other words instead of ascending your work will start descending.  It is quite possible to watch yourself going back to sleep – the soul starts shutting down.  We cannot hold on to our accounts and negativity and expect to keep going higher.  We have to keep finding ways to get out of the rabbit holes.

This Realm...

 This Realm....

This realm, where our lives take place, seems to witness cycles of death and life. As you know, with the details of verification, in our own machines so many cells are being born and others die. As we inhale and exhale some functions begin and others end. Perhaps, life is all a reminder of these cycles. It is in the space in between these cycles of death and life, that we have the possibility to Be. The tools of our Work can expand these moments.

Sometimes putting ourselves in situations that mechanically we  wouldn't want to put ourselves in, have the possibility to expand our being. When we are no longer "comfortable" it makes one Work more intensely. At times, when one becomes too comfortable in one's own surroundings, we no longer know if we are making efforts to Be or if we are "imagining" these efforts Only performing actions that are not mechanical for our machines can take us a bit further.  Observing the hydrogens, and feeding the inner world while we make these efforts allows us the opportunity to work intensely; self-remembering in situations that I ordinarily  wouldn't.

Traces

The only important things in life
are the traces of Love
when we leave.

To Separate

To Separate...

If you take oil and vinegar and shake together they are one. If you leave them still - they separate.  So by remembering (our soul) and staying still, you can separate.  We start by remembering ourselves and this expands into, 'can you be present at your own death?"

Rodney Collin

One has to wait without impatience for what should come,
and yet at the same time do everything within one's power
as though one were impatient
and as though one
were solely
responsible.

Acceptance

Acceptance...

I have verified that the features of the machine (mind/body) cannot "accept" and that being crystallized in one's features or one's formatory thinking or feminine dominance keeps acceptance from becoming a reality.

From my perspective in this moment, what we speak of in our Work is "acceptance" in the active sense; the act of "receiving" what IS.  To accept is to be "receptive," to be open. It is with an inner awareness, and in order to truly be in a state of acceptance and to be Real, there are no I's (thoughts).  It is not words, nor a thought, nor the machine trying to be a "good" machine. It is embraced and just IS.  It is a truth ringing out through every cell of one's being.

This can be scary for the machine, as it is in Acceptance that the machine can feel to be losing it's ground.  In these moments of "fear", peeling back the onion layer, the observation has been made that behind this "fear" is the question of "faith."  In order to embrace acceptance, one's faith must be strong; to be open to that which is higher,  to the invisible worlds.

As I am writing, it has come through me that To "accept" is a gift to the soul,  removing the denying force of the machine so that it may be receptive to higher worlds.  Humility is born through Acceptance.  Acceptance is the "surrender" of the machine and all it "feels and thinks" it is ... bridging the soul to receive higher love.

Now and Forever

Now and Forever...

Each sentence is for You ...  your actual Path ...
many messages in the last weeks ...
many messages here in this poem ...

and yes we need to remember that ...

Love comes to us of its own accord,
and the yearning for it
cannot be learned in any school.

I am here thanking God for this ...
each Sign is a Miracle ...
the answer to each question?
Can we just Be Here with God?

We are blessed ... We are Loved ...
We just need to acknowledge
God's Blessings and Love.
It is in His Nature to give unlimited Love
Can we open that Door and let Him in
... Now and Forever?

In My Own Time

In My Own Time...

I sit by your bedside
Powerless to the forces that be
We know not the hour or day
We wait for the inevitable
Birth and death are imminent
Your suffering pierces me  yet  I  feel no pain
I admire your  courage as you  enter your solitary confinement with the Maker.

Love emerges as a handkerchief to dry the  tears
Compassion  unfolds with a gentle touch of an outstretched heart
The silence of our conversation resonates with nostalgia and laughter
In between the points of entry and exit, lies the journey of your life
I cannot go with you, but I'll be there
In my own time

The Watch

 "The Watch"
(A tribute to Rembrandt and the Schools
on Earth and Above )

Triads in his pupils
Eyes behind the face
Eye behind the eyes
Gaze through time and space

Into God's eternity
Imperceptible smile
Unto God's fraternity
Present all the while

The face of time falls off
The visage of God revealed
Coming forth from centuries
Ancient suffering healed

Great Sphinx in stature
Fine silk golden robes
Beyond infinite nature
Above human hope

Talons outstretched ready
The eagle extends his wings
Single eyed and steady
The Saints and Angels sing

Patiently, urgently, anciently
Works round the globe repeated
Lovingly, devoutly, presently
The Divine Will of God completed

You are all Buddhas

You are All Buddhas...

You are all Buddhas …
Do not be led by holy scriptures,
or by mere logic or inference,
or by appearance,
or by the authority of
religious teachers;
but when you realize that
something is unwholesome
and bad for you, give it up;
but when you realize that
something is wholesome
and good for you,
do it.

Moment by Moment

Moment by Moment...

May your souls enjoy this moment of true life and hope.

I celebrate the gift of divine Love... gift of Light,
which reveals our mission in this incredible journey,
moment by moment.

The Book of Hours

Rainer Maria Rilke

And God said to me, Write:
            Leave the cruelty to kings.
Without that angel barring the way to love
there would be no bridge for me into time.
And God said to me, Paint:
            Time is the canvas
            stretched by my pain:
            the watchful woman,
            the wounds of Christ,
            the city's sad bacchanals,
            the madness of kings.
And God said to me, Go forth:
for I am the king of time.
But to you I am only the shadowy one
who knows with you your loneliness
            and sees through your eyes.
He sees through my eyes in all ages.

We Are Here....

We Are Here...

We are here to grow together ... to heal and regenerate ...
We are here working with the constant aim to create ...
to keep Harmony ... to project the Harmony of the inner world ...
outside ... in the outer world ...
To create Love ...
We are here learning how to serve ...
to serve each other ... how to Love ...
to Love each other ...
and doing this we are
Loving and Serving

The Will of the Gods

The Will of the Gods...

The will of the gods is that you should be passive and allow them to place their imprint on the wax of your being. It is essential that you are well experienced in warding off enemy attacks as you must guard the state vigilantly. If you are willing to be able to remain here you need only ask and the Gods will come to you.

When A Man Awakens

When A Man Awakens...

When a man awakens, that man speaks with a changed tone. He does not talk with men, with an I to their opinions, but his speech becomes plain and true. He  would treat all men as the Gods would,  accepting without any admiration or judgement, the creature which hides them. He will leave you wiser. He makes you  feel that sincerity is more excellent than flattery. The simplest person who genuinely seeks God becomes God.

The Kiss of Our Souls

The Kiss of Our Souls...

The kiss of our souls together in an eternity.
The understanding that this time
is for all souls, not for all men.

My being is starting to understand the immensity
of God's patience to wait for each one of us to walk towards,
this golden presence with open and willing arms.

As I sit in the clear brightness of the morning,
listening to the birdsong another door has opened.
How incredible to not have to explain
with the weight of words.....
and so I sit...in love....
Being in love.

I cannot imagine another way of life.
To be invited to share and invite other new souls to this gift.
The road opens up before us straight and clear.
How wonderful to be free,
truly free to just

To Become Free

To Become Free...

Everyone falls into his own traps,
and gets locked in them again and again,
thinking that maybe there’s a book or a recipe
that will free us forever.
To be free,
we have to become Freedom by itself.
In order to love,
we have to Be Love.

When I Was The Stream

When I Was The Stream...

When I was the stream, when I was the forest,
when I was still the field, when I was every hoof,
foot, fin, and wing, when I was the sky itself;

No one ever asked me did I have a purpose,
no one ever wondered was there
anything I might need . . .
for there was nothing I could not love.

It was when I left all we once were
that the agony began,
that the fear and questions came and I wept.
I wept tears I had never known before.

So I returned to the river.
 I returned to the mountains.
I asked for their hand in marriage again. I begged—
I begged to wed every object and creature,
And when they accepted,
God was ever present in my arms.

And He did not say,

"Where have you been?"

For then I knew my soul -every soul-

has always held

Him.

Meister Eckhart (1260-1328)

Notes on Rapture

Notes on Rapture...

Rapture is the topmost rung of the Mystical Ladder.

It is Moments of induced Understandings.

Rapture is a supremely intense delight, felt by the Soul
for the sweetness of the Higher.

Rapture is a delight that overwhelms the Soul.

To feel this way is to be deified.

Rapture is felt.

Feeling is different than knowing.

A taste is different than experiencing.

Do You Really?

...Do you really?

So many and so wonderful blessings
God pours over his Creation!
Do you really think that He has forgotten
Loving you, even for a second?

An Ever Fixed Mark

 An Ever Fixed Mark...

In modern culture we are continually perplexed as to how to pin point the emotion called “Love”. People chase it, snatch at it, steal it and ultimate (like everything) try to own it. In a materialistic world our answer to everything is to buy what we want, so there is a general dissatisfaction in that love knows that it cannot be “owned”. Through the media we are bombarded with images and suggestions of what love “is” (an absolute). The focus is predominantly on romantic love, which is more associated with identification than actual... true... love.

In the Desiderata we are reminded not to be “cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass”. The love we experience in the Academy is not the type that exists in the story, it is not concerned about status, not bothered by wealth, and doesn’t care for selfishness. As Shakespeare said  “it is an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken.” Let us be reminded of our commitment to Love and not to waver or falter in this commitment.. for “it is the star to every wandering bark”
