It takes courage to face a threat to happiness;
But greater courage is needed
To face the possibility
Of happiness being assured.
The man who knows what he wants
With his innermost desire,
And puts his desire into words;
Then says those words
To whatever god he knows and believes in
Faces the likelihood
Of his desire being granted.
But no-one does that unless he has courage.
