Invisible and Visible

by Arthur Rackham

Backwards or forward it's just as far,
Within or without the path is as narrow.
Time and tide wait for no man.
"Go round about," said the Boyg,
and it's what I must do here.

Glimmers...

by Caravaggio

Perhaps a good beginning is try to understand others. Sometimes we forget how little we understand each other, how little we know each other,
and when glimmers of understanding of another person's life come through to us we are sometimes surprised and given a little bit of comprehension
of who they are. So, realizing how little we understand helps to minimize judgements I's and helps us to just be open. Perhaps then there is space for love to enter.

Glass

In the system, we have the idea of unnecessary suffering and Real suffering.
Unnecessary suffering is sometimes in imagination and sometimes through identification.
It is unnecessary because we don't have to. And it is unnecessary because it doesn't help.
IT DOESN'T HELP US EVOLVE.
Real suffering does. Real suffering pierces the emotional centre and goes straight to the Soul.
IF we don't buffer it. IF we don't waste the opportunity to, in Dante's words, 'grow clear and open'.
When I arrived home I began to cook my dinner. I looked at the bottle of Olive Oil and saw that it didn't have its metal cap on it.
In an instant my Soul started to make connections that my machine couldn't.
It saw that the bottle would be recycled. And that the metal cap would be melted down along with the glass.
It saw that at a certain temperature, the cap, along with all the other impurities in the glass, would rise to the surface.
Once at the surface they would be skimmed off and discarded. They were not needed and would only weaken the finished product.
The remaining glass would be used for some other purpose, a purpose that would be designed on it by the glass-blower.
The process of melting down the glass was the quickest and surest way of losing the impurities.
Which, once discarded would enable the glass to become 'clear and open'.

Cinderella

by Frederick Hall

I like the story of Cinderella as an example of the bindings created in the machine between identification, inner considering, imagination and feminine dominance starting in out own dark basements with this desire that eventually can provide the third force to light our lamps and continue to keep the oil provided for the arduous task of detaching and working with Ugly sisters I's and the feminine dominance aspect of limiting our existence within the limits of the machine . The voice that tells us we can't, you shouldn't! We have to flip that coin to self remembering as the process speeds towards getting to the dance and outwitting the I's of all the different centers that are intent on limiting our prospects of being with the beloved.

Philosopher in Meditation

by Rembrandt

Of course there will be friction; it is par for the course where mechanics are involved. But in this Work, and from the ongoing guidance and energy that we receive and value, we are learning how to transform our negativity and refine our mechanics, so that we can have the energy and collect the Being for the Awakening of our Soul. I'm not suggesting that the process of healing and regeneration is easy, but when faced with our mortality, it is mandatory.

Christmas

by Edward Burne Jones

A Soul from another World called Heaven came here.
This great Soul spoke words and created a play that would assist many to return to the idea that
We are ALL "Sons and Daughters of God."
This was a revelation which many heard and they to suffered greatly
But the secret was out.
"The Kingdom of Heave is within you....Seek and you will find."
And if you find it what will you do?

The Star of Bethlehem

by Frederick Leighton

"...suddenly a flood of divine radiance appeared from above and filled all the room. As this happened the young man lost all awareness of his surroundings and forgot that he was in a house or that he was under a roof. He saw nothing but light all around him and did not know whether he was standing on the ground. He was not afraid of falling; he was not concerned with the world, nor did anything pertaining to men and corporeal beings enter into his mind. Instead, he was wholly in the presence of immaterial light and seemed himself to have turned into light. Oblivious of all the world he was filled with tears and with ineffable joy and gladness. His mind then ascended to heaven and beheld yet another light, which was clearer than that which was close at hand."

The Cloister or the World

by Arthur Hacker

Dear All,
Here we see the highest form of Love and Ecstasy on the Nun’s face.
In the background are worldly delights.
The painting begs the question: which one?
The answer is not one or the other, but both.
We were designed to fulfill ALL aspects of our creation.
William Blake said “The same Law for the Lion and the Lamb is Oppression”
What goes wrong with people is the two worlds judge each other without realizing that we are both like the Wolf and the Lamb,
they have to learn to “lie down together.”

Wave of Consciousness

I walked in the park one morning contemplating our moving as one body, one wave of consciousness, in this great wave rising in the ocean of our school, every  drop of water deliciously connecting and crashing in ecstasy again and again reunited in an ocean of Love.

We rise boldly and beautifully together collecting the essence of the air, the heavens, and the skies and every fragrance and every atom and age to mingle in God's kingdom here on Earth, to create a harmony among humanity.

I began my walk in a small park with a path all the way round with a green in the middle with many elegant tree's and plants like one individual planet circling the Sun. I remembered my time here last year and remembered an individual with a different level of being a few worries still attached.

In this moment I was feeling more serene. Yet here I was again circling, returning to the same place; yet every thing was changing. I noticed an elderly gardener mowing the lawns and taking care of the park as  I moved in my orbit- was he not part of my journey too?

The Pendulum

by Remedios Varo

The pendulum of uncertainty
Swings between two points.

O you in me Who has certainty,
Tell me that I can do nothing;
O you in me Who can do,
Find me the third point.

For only touching three points
Stops the swing of the pendulum.

One Moving Pattern

One moving pattern binds
Planets and men.
Each one has meaning
In his relation to the rest
But none alone.
Men go mad when they do not see
Their connection with each other;
When they understand
Their true relation to the whole
They become more than men.

The Love Potion

by Henry Holiday

When the Lover meets the Beloved there is a surge of energy in the body.

The effects are many, both physiological and psychological.
This may or may not depending of the quality and strength of it provide sufficient current to the Soul and awaken it.

Just as sufficient electricity sent to a light bulb will illuminate it.
The gift of Love therefore contains apart from itself another priceless one.
One a person will often completely miss.

It is the Soul.

The arrival of the Immortal Soul.

To drink "The Love Potion" or not? If you do you may forget your mission.
The rule is to only drink the potion if you can stay present.

Pearl of Great Price

by Herbert Draper

Dear All,

Jesus advised us that if you find a “Pearl of Great Price”
sell everything you own to buy it.
Here is a beautiful image of this finding.
Behold, “The Soul”
What will you do or are you doing to keep it?
To feed it and insure it’s growth?
I have seen so many close the shell and walk away.

Hope

by George Frederick Watts

Dear All,
Hope was the last item in Pandora’s Box.
It was all mankind was given.
Here we see a typical Student before they found the Way.
She is alone on the World and is blindfolded, unable to “See.”
She has constructed her own crude instrument
with one string, to try and “Hear.”
She is chained to it.
I have often encountered people like this; they have not lost “Hope”
in the face of seemingly impossible odds.
In your case the string suddenly gave off the most incredible Music,
and you are no longer Alone.
Love,

Humble Victor

This sculpture by an unknown artist, transcends documentation
and enters the realm of expression.
It is said that although he has won a victory,
he remains focused on his inner world:
self-remembering.
The humble victor is in a state of presence ...

Welcome to Pan

by Edward Burne-Jones

Psyche the Soul is emerging from the waters of truth
and is immediately met by another danger. Not Cupid this time but by Pan.
As you can see, he is part Soul and part animal.
This is the moment, when he sees for the first time, the beauty of another Soul.
He tenderly touches her hair.
Now look into his eyes.
Will the Soul or the beast of him claim her?
An interesting question.
Because at the level of man, this question will often arise
and the more Psyche is available, the bigger the question.
Cupid is for beginners.

Love

I have discovered  something precious here.
Perhaps this is discovered the only place in the Universe
where it exists
Like Gold it is buried deep.
And once found requires skill and effort to MINE it.
And when we have it in our hands we have to learn how to use it.
Just as great Power and Riches test a Man so will this even to a greater degree.
This precious thing is what all Men are seeking and what all Souls are seeking too.
I believe that even God created the creation to find it.
 It is called Love

Prayer

I pray we are able to go deeper in the observations of our mechanics and free ourselves from the shackles of our accounts, resentments, jealousies, fear, righteousness and anger and to open ourselves to a higher and deeper love.

The only way I have been able to look within is having you all with me on this remarkable journey. May we be mirrors for each other in friction and inspiration and teachers for the birth of our souls in love in this lifetime.

Servants of Love

Each one of us continues to open our heart to the divine
and to give the very simplest least
complicated part of ourselves to one another.

I thought this morning - how invisibly and simply light enters our
being. We take it for granted until we make the efforts to return
her gaze with the mirror of our souls. When we work together,
our love for each other becomes like that; an unspoken giving,
reaching into the eternity of another, with a smile, an embrace, a
touch. Invisibly we put little atoms of love in each other, invisibly
little pieces of God vibrating and waking up inside the heart.

What a gift to receive and give love equally, to make your brother
or sister your counterpart. Each one of us has the challenge each
moment to shine light into one another's hearts...invisibly. ..
remembering we are the willing vessels and servants of love.

To Love one Another

 To Love one Another...

It is the most difficult path in this World, "To Love one another." Especially those we find difficult to Love, and that we mechanically push away and justify in doing so. To look up and ask for help is an act of humility and then to be able to look in the eyes of another human being  and fine tune the highest aspirations of the soul to gently ask inside "thy will be done not mine"

To be part of this school is a rare gift and a challenge that few can accept and meet we are asking higher forces to be part and service of a new conscious humanity. The key of this new Kingdom is "self remembering" with this gift i can be honest with myself and begin the road of knowing my mechanics so Love may be born and no longer held captive behind the veils of time.

Love does not belong to me to my machine it is a gift that can be utilized only through purest essence and intention, silently it has the powers to  infuse through my soul and spirit bypassing all forms of intellect and mechanical processes to allow the will of the infinite one to be done.

When I Love I never get lost.
Love is a refreshing breeze.
It is the beauty that creates infinite circles in the sky.
It knows deeply where the source lies
and will all ways return.

Flight

Flight....

Love can only inhabit spaces in the world that are free like a bird and will rarely enter a building and become confined.  It chooses instead vast expanses of invisible sky to perform and swoop. The bulidings and the trees are borrowed for moments of rest and for gatherings with friends.

Invisibly, the breath enters the body and takes flight through many worlds allowing life to continue, finely tuning our being into the reality of Love if it is invited to do so. The truth can be felt inside the cosmos of the sacred body and on exiting radiate into the next world as  a living word an elixir of life. The breath is a gift connecting us to all worlds all circles each Cosmos.

God may I ask that I think not of just this Love in myself
but be able to give it to whom ever needs it in any moment.

The Emerald Tablet

It is true without untruth, certain and most true:

That which is below is like that which is on high,
and that which is on high is like that which is below;
by these things are made the miracles of one thing.
And as all things are, and come from One,
by the mediation of One, So all things are born
from this unique thing by adaption.

The Sun is the father and the Moon the mother.
The wind carries it in its stomach.
The earth is its nourisher and its receptacle.
The Father of all the Theleme
of the universal world is here.
Its force, or power, remains entire,
if it is converted into earth.

You separate the earth from the fire,

the subtle from the gross,
gently with great industry.
It climbs from the earth and descends from the sky,

and receives the force of things
superior and things inferior.

You will have by this way,

the glory of the world and all
obscurity will flee from you.
It is the power strong with all power,

for it will defeat every subtle thing
and penetrate every solid thing
In this way the world was created.

From it are born wonderful adaptations,

of which the way here is given.
That is why I have been called

Hermes Tristmegistus,
having the three parts
of the universal philosophy.
This, that I have called the solar Work,

 is complete.

The Empyrean

by Gustave Doré

When we remember ourselves, we are brought back to the realisation that all happiness, joy and sustenance come from within, from our souls. We realise that we never needed anything else, that we are fully sustained by the spiritual fire burning within our hearts.

And we can Surrender, open our arms and let the chains of our own bondage go. This is the “simple” part, but one we find so difficult, so long as we see whatever we are holding to as a source of our happiness. As we become the sun, as we realise we need nothing to shine – within us is the source of creation. And in time we laugh at the futility of carrying the very weight that bears us down.

Truth

by Rembrandt

Perhaps truth is there somewhere suspended
waiting for us to discover or stumble into it…. like Love. And if we find it do we not imagine we could accept and digest and live it?

Sometimes I think that truth is a temporary platform
we sleep and rest on
only to be abruptly wakened
or shocked into discovering a new one.
