St John of the Cross
It is said that you may entirely change your situation,
and open doorways of new opportunity,
merely by being having gratitude in your heart.
Heaven may descend to the prisoner
in the most destitute of situations,
if he can hold the vibration of gratitude,
even if that is just being thankful for his breath.
