SOULS' BREAKFAST - Day Twenty-seven

Beloved Souls,
Today’s poem is very special to me because every time I read it I think of you and I am filled with tremendous gratitude that I have all of you, my “wonderful, wild companions”, my brothers and sisters, in my life!
It has been a healing experience, a joyful octave and an honor that you have allowed me to feed your soul for the past 9 days.
I have prepared breakfast for your soul, now I am sending you all an open invitation for breakfast for your machine – If you show up in New York, I will happily make you pancakes, French toast or eggs with Greek sausage – yum!
With love I pass the baton to Ran from the Manhattan school – a beautiful, wise and gentle soul who we adore.   You will too.
A big thank you to beautiful soul, Annalisa for this octave of daily nourishment!
send a giant hug to you all!!!
Evelyn

What Happens

What happens when your soul
Begins to awaken
Your eyes
And your heart
And the cells of your body
To the great Journey of Love?

First there is a wonderful laughter
And probably precious tears

And a hundred sweet promises
And those heroic vows
No one can ever keep.

But still God is delighted and amused
You once tried to be a saint.

What happens when your soul
Begins to awake in this world

To our deep need to love
And serve the Friend?

O the Beloved
Will send you
One of His wonderful, wild companions –

Like Hafiz.
